What is the ANYKING P9 Pro laptop screen extender?
The ANYKING P9 Pro adds two 15.6″ Full HD external displays to your laptop, creating a three-screen workspace including your laptop screen. It helps you keep documents, spreadsheets, code, reference material, and video calls visible together instead of repeatedly switching windows.
Will the ANYKING P9 Pro fit my laptop?
P9 Pro has two mounting positions:
- Position 1: A 285–367 mm clamping range, designed for approximately 13–16″ laptops.
- Position 2: A 332–410 mm clamping range, designed for approximately 15–17.3″ laptops.
Measure your laptop’s screen-frame width and check the mounting area before purchase. Screen size alone does not guarantee a fit. Contact ANYKING if you need help checking your laptop.
How do I connect both P9 Pro screens? Can I use one USB-C cable?
Each P9 Pro display requires its own video signal. The standard connection options are:
- Two video-enabled USB-C ports connected with two USB-C cables.
- One video-enabled USB-C port plus HDMI, using the supplied HDMI-to-USB-C video cable.
One USB-C cable does not run both displays through the standard native connection. USB-C video requires DisplayPort Alt Mode, and additional power may be needed. See the P9 Pro manual and connection diagrams.
Does P9 Pro require a display driver?
No additional display driver is required when P9 Pro connects directly through compatible USB-C video or HDMI outputs. Your computer must support two independent external displays to extend different content across both panels.
If your setup uses a separate USB display adapter, that adapter may require its own software. Check the adapter’s requirements before installation.
Does P9 Pro work with MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, and Apple silicon Macs?
P9 Pro can work with compatible Macs, but a three-screen workspace requires your Mac to support two external displays while its built-in display remains active.
Display limits vary between M1, M2, M3, M4, and newer Macs, including their Pro and Max versions. Having two USB-C ports alone does not confirm dual external-display support. Ask ANYKING Support to check your exact Mac model, chip, and macOS version.
What are the P9 Pro display specifications?
The P9 Pro FHD model features two 15.6″ IPS displays. Each screen has:

The two external screens provide additional space for everyday office work, research, coding, and reference viewing.
Does P9 Pro need an external power supply?
External power may be needed when your laptop cannot supply enough power, especially when using HDMI video or when the screens appear dim, flicker, or restart.
Follow the connection diagram in the P9 Pro user manual. For additional display power, the manual specifies a compatible 5V/3A or higher power supply connected to the product’s power input.
Can I show different apps on all three screens?
Yes, when your computer supports two independent external displays. Select extended-display mode to keep different apps on your laptop and each P9 Pro screen—for example, your main document in the center, reference material on one side, and a spreadsheet on the other.
You can also select mirrored-display mode in your computer’s display settings.
Can the two P9 Pro screens connect to different devices?
Yes. Each external screen has an independent video input, allowing the two panels to receive content from different compatible devices.
For example, one panel can display a laptop while the other receives video from another supported device. Each source must provide a compatible video signal, and external power may be required. Check your device’s video-output capability before connecting.
What is the difference between P9 Pro and P9 Ultra?
P9 Pro receives a separate native video signal for each external display and does not require an additional display driver for compatible direct connections.
P9 Ultra uses display software to run both external screens through one connection to the computer. Separate power may still be needed. Choose according to your laptop’s ports, external-display support, and software-installation permissions.
Is P9 Pro portable, and how should I fold it for storage?
P9 Pro has foldable displays, metal back panels, rear support, and an approximate weight of 3.24 lb (1.47 kg).
Follow the illustrated folding sequence: open the left screen before the right, and close the right screen before the left. Make sure the small mounting flaps are fully closed before packing. Refer to the user manual for the complete storage instructions.
What should I do if one P9 Pro screen shows “No Signal”?
Check that the affected screen has its own active video connection. If using USB-C, confirm that the laptop port supports video output and that the cable supports video transmission.
Reconnect the supplied cables, add external power if needed, and check your computer’s external-display limit and display settings. Visit the Help Center for further assistance.
